CROSSROAD 2030 VISION

As Collinsville First Baptist celebrates our first 100 years, God is calling us to something greater. The next chapter of our story isn’t about preserving the past—it’s about pursuing Christ with fresh vision and bold faith.

Every generation faces crossroads. This is ours. Where will God take us in the next five years? What would it look like for our church to become a vibrant missional movement that awakens this community to the gospel?

The Crossroad 2030 Vision is our answer—a God-sized dream for a small-town church with a big God.

OUR MISSION

Our mission describes why our church exists.

GUIDING GENERATIONS TO PURSUE
CHRIST AT EVERY CROSSROAD.

This language is nothing more than the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20 and will be our compass for all we do. Every day, people face crossroads—big and small decisions that shape their lives. Every moment presents a choice: Will I follow Jesus or pursue something else—the culture, the flesh, the darkness?

God has called us to guide people to choose Jesus at these crossroads. We help them come to know Christ and pursue Him at every point of decision. This is where maximal blessing and joy are found—in this age and the age to come.

OUR VALUES

Our six values below describe how we as a church stay aligned in our mission.

Christ-Honoring Decisions

Crossroads are decision points that must be filtered through Christ’s lordship so generations choose what pleases Him.

(Col 3:17)

Life-Giving Relationships

Developing authentic, meaningful relationships inside and outside the church creates a channel for mutual encouragement and ensures no one faces a crossroad alone.

(Heb 10:24-25)

Grace-Filled Honesty

Generations move from darkness into light only when truth is spoken in love by everyone, freeing us to walk in peace with God without shame.

(Eph 4:15)

Gospel-Fueled Transformation

True life change comes not from willpower or tradition but from the gospel, where Christ’s saving and sanctifying work makes generations new.

(Rom 1:16)

Community-Strengthening Influence

Our neighbors and region are blessed as we overflow in Christ as salt and light and maximize our campus as a hub to serve and better our community.

(Mt 5:13-16)

Kingdom-Driven Generosity

Christ’s kingdom advances and future generations flourish in faith when we joyfully invest time, talent, and treasure with eternity in mind.

(1 Tim 6:18-19)

OUR MEASURES

Our six values below correspond with our values and describe who we, as a individuals, must become for our mission.

These are characteristics of a mature follower of Christ and will be developed through worship gatherings, small groups, opportunities to serve, and Starting Point.

(Jn 8:32)

OUR VISION

Our vision describes where God is taking us through our mission. Here’s the picture we believe God is painting for us by 2030:

By 2030, Collinsville First Baptist will continue growing as the central hub of this community, becoming a vibrant missional movement guiding generations to pursue Christ at every crossroad. Our campus will be used throughout the week by those inside and outside the church. Our people, buildings, and finances will be especially invested in our biggest mission field—the next generation.
Our people will gather on Sundays to worship Jesus passionately and then go out as missionaries daily in our local community. Sharing the gospel will become our lifestyle, seeing 250 baptisms marking lives transformed by Jesus. Homes will become mission centers to reach children, neighbors, and friends for Christ. A small town will be awakened to the gospel!
Men and women of all ages will find their God-designed purpose and joy. Fathers will be strengthened to lead their families. Mothers will be equipped to nurture the next generation. In partnership with parents, children and teens will be guided to faith that will grow and blossom into adulthood.

Growth of 10% annually will bring us to 600+ in attendance. This is not a megachurch fantasy. This is Collinsville with a big God!

OUR STRATEGY

Our strategy describes what we do and when to reach our vision. Our strategy is multi-faceted and always adapting. Listen for details around the church.
