Starting Point
Every journey begins with a Starting Point! And your journey at Collinville FBC is no different. Our Starting Point course is designed to give you the information you need to know at the beginning of your relationship with our church so that you may become of a faithful church member. This course is a requirement for membership but obligates no one. No two churches are alike, and we can’t wait to share with you what makes ours unique!
Course Details
We’re so glad you’re considering this course! It’s designed to give you a clear, comprehensive introduction to our church as you consider membership. Our pastors will walk you through essential topics including our church’s story and structure, our ministry partners, how to become a follower of Christ, the meaning of baptism, practical ways you can serve and make a difference in the lives of others, and other helpful topics.
Course Schedule
Our Starting Point course consists of two sessions held one week apart. We offer the course nearly every month, alternating between Sunday and Wednesday schedules.
Sunday option
Sessions begin at 8:45 AM. Lunch is provided after Session 1 following the Worship Gathering. Breakfast is provided before Session 2.
Wednesday option
Sessions begin at 5:45 PM. Supper is provided at both sessions.
