Courtney Hatcher

Courtney has been married to her husband, Andy, since June 2002, and has two children: Jaxon and Wyatt. She is originally from this area and has spent the majority of her life in or near Meridian/Collinsville. Courtney graduated from Mississippi State University with a BS in Elementary Education in May 2004. Her teaching career began at Southeast Elementary before transferring to West Lauderdale Elementary in August 2011. In September 2018, she began serving as the part-time Children’s Ministry Director for Collinsville First Baptist.

After much prayer, Courtney ended her 17 year teaching career in May 2021 and answered the call into full time ministry as the Preschool & Children’s Ministry Director for Collinsville First Baptist. She is excited about the journey God is leading her to travel and can’t wait to see what He does!

Her desire is that each child will come to have a personal relationship with Jesus that grows by leaps and bounds as they learn how to truly follow Him in every aspect of his/her life, and to partner with parents to help them develop the tools they need to disciple their children.
