Sunday School

At Collinsville First Baptist we believe that Sunday School is the most effective way for people to begin connecting with the church through a small group made up of people who meet together for the common purpose of reaching out to others, teaching the Bible and ministering to others.

About Sunday School

Sunday School has a long history of helping the church do those things well. Although Bible study is a main focus of Sunday School it is certainly more than simply coming to receive and consume what is offered.

  • God’s word has much to say about how believers are to relate to, respond to and treat one another.

This is a time for building relationships, focusing on reaching others and effectively ministering to one another.

Class Guides

Kids Class Guide

  • Kids (Birth–5th Grade) meet in the Collinsville Kids Zone, where adult leaders help with check-in and guide them to class.
  • Each child learns in a safe, engaging environment through activities, interaction, and Bible skills.
  • Teachers use Bible Studies for Life with the Levels of Biblical Learning to provide age-appropriate lessons for every stage of growth.

Students (6th–12th Grade)

  • Adult leaders are present to help students find their classes. Students are in a safe environment where they learn Biblical truths that will help them know more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.
  • Students attend classes based on their school grade. Teachers use a series called Bible Studies for Life which is designed to help people in groups connect God’s Word to their lives in an intentional way.

Adult Classes Guides

  • Classes are offered for couples, men & women and are based mainly on age and/or stage of life.
